Olympian Andy Turner had a stellar career as a track and field athlete specialising in the 110m hurdles. Turner came home with the Gold Medal at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona as well as winning the Gold again at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. He also bagged Silver and Bronze medals at the World Championships, European Team Championships and the Continental Cup respectively.
Andy retired from athletics in 2014 but he kept his focus on health and wellbeing. He quickly became one of the country’s leading fitness models and body builders and has now been heavily featured in a number of high profile Fitness and Men’s magazines.
Turner is now also a high profile personal trainer and has been hailed for his cutting-edge approach to fitness. His ability to combine the training techniques he learned as an athlete with those he’s picked up as a body builder have made him a firm favourite amongst his many clients.
Andy has appeared in a range of television roles. He was the face of a Ford S-Max advertising Campaign. A three-time panellist on ‘A Question of Sport’, Gordon Ramsay’s ‘The F-Word’, ‘Silent Witness’ and he also appeared in a feature film about the life of Jeffrey Archer.
In his spare time Andy regularly competes in white collar and charity boxing matches, recently beating fellow athlete Dwain Chambers, in a bout.
